Phoevos Pouroulis is the Chief Executive Officer of the Tharisa plc, with responsibility for overall strategy and management. Phoevos has held various senior managerial and operational positions in his more than 20-year career.

He has extensive experience in project management, mining design, commissioning and mining operations, including PGM and chrome, having been involved in South Africa's mining industry since 2003. He has served as Commercial Director for Chromex Mining plc and was a founding member of Keaton Energy. Phoevos currently serves on the board of the World Platinum Investment Council.

Bernard is a Metallurgical Engineer by background with over 35 years' experience in the international mining industry. He has held senior executive positions across a range of disciplines, including project acquisition, evaluation, development, and construction and has run large-scale fully operational mining assets.

His experience also includes international commercial and general management, most notably in Australia, Brazil, West and Southern Africa, the Middle East and Russia. Recently, Bernard was CEO of Alufer Mining where, under his supervision, its flagship Bel Air bauxite mine in the Republic of Guinea was developed and put into production. Bernard has also held positions as CEO of African Minerals Limited and Q Resources plc. Between 2006 and 2010 he held senior positions within Anglo American Plc as Head of Business Development and was CEO of Anglo Ferrous Brazil Inc.

Josephat has more than 20 years' experience in the field of Metallurgical Engineering covering both Materials Engineering and Extractive Metallurgy. He is also a consummate Scientist and has held various Visiting Scientist appointments at Princeton University (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Princeton Institute for the Science and Technology of Complex Materials), Rutgers University (Chemistry Department) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (Solar Technology) among other institutions.

Josephat has been with the Tharisa Group for more than 13 years and has served in various capacities. He is currently the Country Manager for Zimbabwe and has been involved with the Karo project since its inception. Josephat is a Fellow of the Zimbabwe Academy of Sciences and a Past President of the Africa Materials Research Society (AMRS). He is a Board Member of the Africa MRS and a past Senate member of the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS).
